PHILLIPS--William Henry, 65, 505 Luther Street, Windber, at 7:15 p.m. May 17,
1949, in home.  Born May 7, 1884, in England.  Resident of Windber area for
past 38 years.  Operated Phillips & Son Flower Shop in Windber.  Survived by
widow, Harriet (Fazey) Phillips, and two sons, William Henry Jr., 505 Luther
Street, and Harold, 503 Luther Street, and three grandchildren.  Brother of
George and Harry Phillips and Mrs. Agnes Seanor, all of Scalp Level; Thomas
Phillips, Geistown, and Mrs. Rachel Miller, Pontiac, Mich.  Preceded in death
by one brother, John, and one sister, Mrs. Ruth Shimel.  Friends received in
Meek Funeral Home, Windber, after 4 p.m. Wednesday; service there at 2 p.m.
Friday, Dr. Newton H. Fritchley.  Burial, Richland Cemetery.
