MINNIE B. PHILSON

  Mrs. Minnie Brubaker Philson, 79, of Berlin, died at her home Friday 
afternoon, Jan. 15, following a long illness.  She was a daughter of Herman W. 
and Matilda Korns Brubaker and was born in Berlin where she has lived all her 
life, taking an active interest in the civic and church life of the community.  
Her husband, William F. Philson, died last June.
  Mrs. Philson is survived by the following children: Mrs. Myra P. Floto, 
Cumberland, Md.; Edgar, Howard and Albert Philson at home, and Mrs. Bertha 
Landis, Berlin, R.D.; Miss Elizabeth Philson, Cumberland, Md.; Mrs. Gertrude 
Musser, Berlin; Mrs. Leora Eckels, Lansdale and Mrs. Florence Dively, Berlin.  
She is also survived by two sisters: Mrs. H. B. Philson of Berlin, and Mrs. 
Allen Hillegass, Buffalo Mills.
  Funeral services were held Monday at 2:30 p.m. in the Philson home with the 
Rev. Robert S. Nagle, pastor of the Lutheran Church, officiating.  Burial in the 
Odd Fellows cemetery in charge of Johnson and Son, Berlin morticians.
