  PHILSON
  
  Zora M. Philson, White Star Village, Jennerstown, died the evening of
  Aug. 13, 1985, at home.  Born in Somerset County, she was a daughter of
  Speer O. and Sarah C. (May) Philson.  Preceded in death by parents;
  sisters, Maude Harcleroad, Leafy Lohr, Pauline Hammer, Dorthea Lowry,
  Mary Griffith and Florence Philson; also two brothers, John L. and
  William R.  Survived by sister-in-law, Mary L. Philson, Jennerstown;
  niece, Eleanor Sann; nephews, Hillard M. Griffith, Robert I. Lohr,
  Dr. John R. Philson and the Rev. Louis P. Youngren.  Member of Mt.
  Laurel United Church of Christ.  Former partner in the White Star
  Hotel, Jennerstown, and, along with brothers William and John and
  sister Florence, operated the hotel for 50 years.  Friends received
  2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the Hoffman Funeral Home, Main Street,
  Boswell, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday with the Rev.
  Joseph M. Beer officiating.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
