  PICKARD
  
  William Bradshaw Pickard, 75, Somerset, died June 2, 1999 at Somerset
  Hospital.  Born April 18, 1924 in Mount Elgin, Ontario, Canada, son of
  William John and Donna Penruth (Melick) Pickard.  Preceded in death by
  parents and granddaughter, Heather J. Pickard.  Survived by wife, the
  former Margaret Julia Steele, to whom he was married for 50 years and
  these children: W. Dayid Pickard, married to the former Connie Lesure
  of Columbus, Ohio and Patrick J. Pickard, married to the former Nancy
  Stairs of Somerset.  Also survived by grandchildren, W. Shawn, David F.
  Pickard; Erin E., Christopher P. Pickard and greatgranddaughter Jordan
  Heather Pickard. Brother of John M. Pickard of North Fort Myers, Ha.;
  L.D. "Pat" Pickard of London, Ontario, Canada; and Mrs. Patrick
  (Mary) Brown of Oakville, Canada. Member of St. Paul's Presbyterian
  Church, Somerset; D-Day veteran of the Canadian Army Serving with the
  Highland Light Infantry; attended Ontaric Agricultural College;
  manager of Mayfair Creamery from 1963 to 1977 and managed the Berkey
  Locker Plant from 1977 to 1987.  Friends will be received from 2-4 and
  7-9 p.m., Sunday, at Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, where services will
  be conducted at 10 a.m., Monday.  Rev. Keith M. Fink officiating.
  Interment in Somerset County Memorial Park.  Contributions may be made
  to Somerset Hospital, 225 South Center Ave., Somerset, Pa., 15501.
