  PICKETT
  
  Hattie Pickett, 88, of Somerset RD 7, died Sept. 3, 1996, at Somerset
  Hospital.  Born Jan. 31, 1908, in Brantley, Ala. Daughter of the late
  Andrew and Mary Lou (Pease) Davis.  Preceded in death by husband,
  James Pickett, and a son James Pickett Jr.; brothers: William, Lima
  and Columbus Davis; sisters: Lela Pickett and Eleanor Hansberry.
  Survived by children: Bertha Anderson, Somerset RD 7; Mrs. Dorothy
  Parker, Alexandria, Va,; Mrs. Paul (Rosetta) Yancey, Somerset, and
  Gilbert Pickett, Sterling, Va.  Also 10 grandchildren and
  13,,great-grandchildren.  Member of Husband United Methodist Church.
  Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the
  Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, where services will be conducted at
  11:30 a.m. Saturday, Rev. David S. Jack officiating.  Interment,
  Husband Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be sent to Husband
  United Methodist Church, in care of Rev. David S. Jack, RD 5,
  Somerset, PA 1501.
