  PIELL
  
  Dorothy M. Piell, 78, of Friedens, formerly of Indian Lake, died July
  25, 2003 at West Penn Hospital, Pittsburgh.  Born Oct. 12, 1924 in
  Somerset, the daughter of Leroy and Marie (Dixon) Young.  Preceded in
  death by her parents, husband, Kenneth Stanley Piell, son, Dennis
  Leroy Piell, and an infant grandson.  Survived by children, Kenneth
  Jr., married to the former Sarah Johnson, Fredericksburg, Va., Penny,
  married to Dennis Reiman, Berlin, and Leonard J., Stoystown;
  grandchildren, Kristopher Piell, Bradley, Gregory and Kelley Reiman.
  Renee and Jamie Piell; step-grandson, Drew Anderson; and a sister,
  Thelma Smith, of Palmetto, Fla.  She was a former teachers aid for the
  North Star School District.  She was a member of the Brothersvalley
  Church of the Brethren, Brotherton.  Life member of Somerset American
  Legion Auxiliary.  A graduate of Berlin Brothersvalley High School
  class of 1942.  Enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and
  friends.  Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
  Monday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, and from 10 a.m. Tuesday
  until the time of service at 11 a.m. at the Brothersvalley Church of
  the Brethren, Brotherton.  Rev. Timothy E. Resh officiating.
  Interment, Brotherton Pike Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be
  sent to American Cancer Society, Somerset Unit 168 W. Union St.,
  Somerset, Pa. 15501, or Somerset Oncology Center, 314 S. Kimberly
  Ave., Somerset, Pa, 15501.
