  Harold Francis Pierce, 71, of Confluence, died March 21, 1973, at his
  home.  Born January 29, 1902, in Dawson.  Survived by his wife the
  former Mildred Daniels, one son Francis C. of Louisville, Kentucky;
  six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister of Mrs. Martha
  Sprawn and Mrs. Grace Blair of Stewart, Florida.  Friends will be received
  after 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Humbert Funeral Home where funeral services
  will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. Rev. Arthur Gotjen and John Rodahaver
  officiating.  Interment, Silbaugh Cemetery.
