  Irene G. Pierce, 83, Crafton, died Noy. 18, 1996, at Allegheny
  General Hospital, Pittsburgh.  Born April 10, 1913, in Lower
  Turkeyfoot Township, a daughter of the late Joseph and Edith (Hurst)
  Sharkey.  Preceded in death by her husband, Harold L. Suryiyed by a
  son, Harold E., married to Kathleen Duffy Pierce, Pittsburgh, and
  four grandsons.  Friends received at the Humbert Funeral Home,
  Confluence, Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., the hour of service,
  with the Rev. Thomas Charles officiating.  Interment, Ursina Cemetery.
