PIERCE Mrs. Jennie M. Pierce died at the home of her brother, Thomas Fallon, of Boynton, Pa., Jan. 6, 1940, at the age of 67 years, 4 months and 15 days. The cause of her death was heart disease. She was a daughter of William and Ellen O'Niel Fallon who located in West Salisbury when she was a child about 10 years old, and the family resided there for some years. She was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers, and also by her husband, who died in 1933. Surviving her are her brother, Thomas, of Boynton, and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Brosnan, of Meyersdale, and Mrs. Katherine Dooley of Wilkins, Pa. Mrs. Pierce was a member of the Roman Catholic Church, and her funeral service was held at SS. Philip and James Church of that denomination in Meyersdale, at nine o'clock a.m., last Friday, conducted by the Rev. Father H. T. Miller. Burial was in the St. Michael's Church Cemetery, at West Salisbury, under the direction of Stanley M. Thomas, mortician, of Salisbury. Meyersdale Republican, January 11, 1940
