  Mildred C. Pierce, 93, of Louisville, Ky., formerly of Confluence,
  died Monday, Feb. 3, 1986, at the home of her son in Louisyille, Ky.
  Born March 13, 1892, in Connellsville.  Preceded in death by her
  husband, Harold.  Survived by a son, Francis C. Pierce of Louisville,
  Ky.; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a brother, Paul
  B. Daniels of Connellsville.  Friends will be received from 2-9 p.m.
  Thursday at the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence, where services will
  be held Friday at 11 a.m. with Dr. Arthur J. Gotjen officiating.
  Interment, Jersey Cemetery.
