  George J. Pierre, 88, of Windber, died June 3, 2001 at Meadow View
  Nursing Center, Berlin.  Born March 4, 1913 in Abruzzi, Italy, son of
  the late Nicholas and Louise (DiGuilio) Pierre.  In addition to his
  parents, preceded in death by brothers James and Anthony and a sister
  Angeline Vitucie.  Survived by his wife Margaret (Paxton) Pierre;
  sisters Anna Dusack and Marky Hudack; and a brother Joseph Pierre.  No
  viewing or visitation.  A private service and interment will be held at
  the convenience of the family.
