  Eleanor D. Pifer, 77, Rothbury, Mich., died Oct. 26, 1995, at Hackley
  Hospital, Muskegon, Mich.  Born Aug. 29, 1918, in Berlin.  Daughter of
  the late Martin Lewis and Bertha Elizabeth (Deeter) Deitz.  Preceded
  in death by sisters Lillian Deitz and Leona Stevanus and brothers
  Joseph, Wilbur, Richard and Edward Deitz.  Survived by daughter Polly
  Jean Balenci, Copper Harbor, Mich.; grandchildren Dorothy Jean Rock,
  Mendon, Mass., and Richard Balenci, Shelby, Mich. and brother,
  Clarence Deitz of Berlin.  Retiree of B.F. Goodrich Corp., Akron,
  Ohio, and Howmet of Whitehall, Mich.  Private memorial service and
  interment in Berlin IOOF Cemetery.
