Pike, 76, Davenport, Fla., native of Hooversville, died Sept. 28, 2000. Survived by wife Janet Pike, Davenport; son, Keith Pike, Sunderland, Md.; mother Anna Pike, Riverside, Calif.; sister Millie Meckes, Riverside; and brothers, John Pike, New Rochelle, N.Y., and Jerry Pike, Indiana, Pa. Also three grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Former resident of LaPlata, Md. and a resident of Davenport since 1984. Former school teacher in Boswell and LaPlata. He also worked 10 years for Disney Epcot. He received his teaching degree from Lockhaven University and master's degree from University of Maryland. Member of Maryland American Legion and Davenport VFW. World War II Air Force veteran. Member of United Methodist Church in LaPlata. Memorial service will be held at Oct. 27, at Arehart and Echol Funeral Home, LaPlata. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice of Mid Florida, P.O.
