  Chester Alvin Pile, 80, California, Md., died Aug. 9, 2005, at St. Mary's
  Nursing Center, Leonardtown, Md. Born Feb. 6, 1925, in Friedens, he is the son
  of the late Orville and Thelma (Little) Pile. He is survived by his wife, Mary
  Pile, California, Md.; daughter, Debra, and son-in-law, James Younkins,
  Leonardtown, Md.; and sister, Virginia Ludy, Somerset. He was a member of the
  VFW Post 181, Federal Order of Eagles and The American Legion Post, all of
  Somerset. He is a World War II U.S. Navy Veteran. Service will be private.
