"Dutch" Pile, 75, Friedens RD 2, died Jan. 10, 1986, at home. Born May 25, 1910, in Somerset Township, son of late Ross I. and Lucy (Hensel) Pile. Preceded in death by brother, Leo. Survived by widow, former Bernice Fitzgerald, whom he married Jan. 9, 1934; and daughter, Mrs. David (Judy) Mankamyer, Somerset RD 7; and these grandchildren, D. Alan, Kelly and Chris. Brother of Wayne, Scottsdale, Ariz.; Eugene and Roy, both of Friedens RD 2; Mrs. Harold (Luella) Shaffer, and Robert, both of Friedens RD 1; and Mrs. Paul (Althea) Lutz, Somerset. Retired Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission employee. Army veteran of World War II. Member of Friedens Lutheran Church and Somerset Lodge No. 358, F&AM. Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, the Rev. James R. Ling.
