  Helen S. Pile, 86, Hillcrest Manor, Friedens, died Feb. 17, 1999, at
  home.  Born July 27, 1912, in Somerset, a daughter of Harry B. and
  Mary E. (Rooney) Snyder.  Preceded in death by parents; husband,
  Eugene; sisters: Doris Jean Snyder, Elizabeth Smith, Willa Jean
  Snyder, and Katherine S. Pucci; brothers: Maj. Harry "Buss" and Lt.
  Joseph P. Snyder.  Survived by son, E. Neil, married to the former
  Eunice Hottle, Friedens, grandchildren: Hollie Nelson, Eugene
  "Buster" Pile and wife Sarah, and Valerie Marsh; great-grandchildren:
  Ryan, Chelsea and Travis Nelson, Emily, Cody and Eleanor Pile, Adam
  and Tonya Marsh, and Shane.  Member of Somerset American Legion
  Auxiliary and 55 and Over Speeders.  Family will receive friends from
  2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where
  service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Msgr Samuel J. Tomaselli.
  Interment, Friedens Lutheran Cemetery.
