Pearl Pile, 87, of Berlin, formerly of Somerset, died May 24, 2000 at Meadowview Nursing Center, Berlin. Born March 20, 1913 in Somerset Township, daughter of David George and Sadie Elizabeth (Sechler) Ogline. Preceded in death by parents; husband George William "Joe" Pile who died Oct. 20, 1975; brothers, George, Edward, Harry and Earl E. Ogline; and stepdaughter Ruby Palmer. Survived by stepdaughter, Mrs. Ruth Sicheri of Quecreek, three stepgrandchildren, Ronald K. Palmer of Richmond, Va., Mrs. John (Connie) Kolesko of Briton, Conn., and George E. "Eddie" Sicheri of Somerset; and 7 step great-grandchildren, Douglas, David and Allen Palmer, Megan, Chelsea and Abby Sicheri, and Justin Kolesko. Member of First United Methodist Church. A 1931 graduate of Somerset High School, clerk at the former Lytle's Cleaners of Somerset, and caretaker of Somerset Soroptimist House. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset. where services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, Rev. Patricia M. Nelson officiating.
