Pile, 61, of Friedens RD 1, died Sept. 25, 1976, at his residence. Born Jan. 14, 1915, in Somerset a son of the late Ross I. and Lucy (Hensel) Pile. Survived by his widow, the former Victoria Custer, and these children: Mrs. Richard (Donna) West, Level Green; Thomas at home; Barry, Phoennixville; Debra, Pittsburgh; and three grandchildren. A brother of Wayne, Somerset; Wilbert, Eugene, Robert, and Roy, all of Friedens RD 2; Mrs. Harold (Luella) Shaffer, Friedens RD 1; and Mrs. Paul (Althea) Lutz, Somerset. A retired dairy man, vice president of former IXL Creamery, Inc., member of Friedens Lutheran Church, Stoystown Lions Club, director of National Bank of Western Pennsylvania. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at Charles R. Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, with the Rev. James R. Ling officiating. Interment, Friedens Lutheran Cemetery.
