She was born May 4, 1924, in Garrett, daughter of the late Charles and Grace (Dickey) Haer. She is survived by husband, Ray D., of Hanover; and these children: Ms. Cindy Horn of State College and Donna, wife of Jeff Spalding of Orrtanna, Pa. Sister of: Charles Haer of Garrett, Mrs. Gene (Elizabeth) Siegner of Cleveland, Ohio, and Mrs. Blaine (Patricia) Smiley of Berlin. She was a member of St, Matthew's Lutheran Church; Hanover. She was employed as a registered nurse at Gettysburg Lutheran Home. She was the chairlady of the Altar Guild of St. Matthews where she was a member and officer of the Lutheran Church Women, and a member of the Parish Education Committee. Friends were received at the Wetzel Funeral Home, 549 Carlisle St:, Hanover, where services were conducted with the Rev. Dr. Arthur L. Ruth, officiating. Friends were also received at the Hauger Funeral Home. Services were conducted in the Hays Church, the Rev. Gregory Pile officiating. Interment, Hays Cemetery.
