    Lucille A. Pilkerton, 82, of California, Md., died on Tuesday, January 6,
  2004, at Washington Adventist Hospital, Takoma Park, Md.
    Mrs. Pilkerton was born on April 20, 1921, in Meyersdale.  She was the
  daughter of the late Cyrus and Berdella Housel. 
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Marshall Pilkerton, and her
  stepdaughter, Virginia Ann Lamot.
    She is survived by her son, Michael Pilkerton of Mechanicsville, Va.; her
  sister, Marna Hiers of Laurel, Md.; six grandchildren; six
  great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
    Mrs. Pilkerton was a U.S. Navy civilian personnel specialist in
  Washington, D.C., retiring in 1970. 
    She was a member of NARF, the Disabled American Veterans' Auxiliary, and
  Trinity Lutheran Church in Lexington Park, Md., where a memorial service
  was held on Sunday, January 11th.  Interment was in Immaculate Heart of
  Mary Cemetery, Lexington Park.
