Born May 9, 1900, in Lilly, Pa., son of the late Luther and Maria (Fischer) Piper. Survived by his wife, the former Beulah Aurandt; a son, Clyde J. of Tryon, N.C.; a daughter, Mrs. Shirley Nadeja of Carnegie; a brother, Harry W. of Altoona; five grandchildren; one great-grandson. Was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Salisbury; Meyersdale Lodge No. 554 F&AM; Meyersdale Chapter and the Harrisburg Consistory. Funeral services will be held Monday, today, 10:30 a.m., in St. John's Lutheran Church, the Rev. David E. Fetter officiating. Interment in the Alto-Reste Park, Altoona.
