  PIPER
  
  Ruth S. Piper, 84, of Confluence, died Aug. 10, 1984, at Maple
  Mountain Manor in Berlin.  Born Sept. 16, 1899, in Ohiopyle, the
  daughter of the late Ira and Joetta (Hall) Show.  She is survived by
  two brothers, Warren Eugene Show of Silver Springs, Md.; and Loren J.
  Show, of Hyattsville, Md.  She is preceded in death by her husband,
  Henry, and two brothers.  She was a member of the Great Crossing
  Chapter of DAR, Three Rivers Senior Citizens and the Confluence
  United Methodist Church.  Friends will be received at the Humbert
  Funeral Home in Confluence after 7 p.m. Saturday, where funeral
  services will be held Monday at 1 p.m., the Rev. Dr. Arthur Gotjen
  officating.  Interment, Johnson Chapel Cemetery.
