  Mary Susan (Nesbela) Pipta, 86, of Patriot Manor, Somerset, formerly
  of Jerome, died Feb. 4, 1998, at Somerset Hospital.  Born June 7,
  1911, in Lilly.  Daughter of Mike and Mary (Andresko) Nesbela.
  Preceded in death by parents; husband John Sr., on Sept. 19, 1993;
  brothers Joe and Steve; and sister Anna Koken.  Survived by children:
  Michael of Dearborn, Mich.; Irene Shiring of Oceanside, Calif.; John
  Jr. of Newry, Pa.; Eleanor Hipsley of Lanham, Md.; Robert of Tustin,
  Calif.; Mary Jane Bodner of Greenbelt, Md.; Barbara Elser of Anaheim,
  Calif., and Paul of Johnstown.  Also numerous grandchildren and
  great-grandchildren.  Sister of Andrew, Pete, Paul, Mike, John, Agnes
  Strayer, Susan Plewka and Olean Andrachak.  Member of SS. Peter and
  Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, Jerome, and Jerome American Legion
  Post 802 Auxiliary.  Employed by former Dorfman and Hoffman Garment
  Factory, Boswell.  Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday
  and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Main
  Street, Boswell, where Panachida will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
  Prayer service at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home followed by Christian
  Burial with Divine Liturgy at 10 a.m. Saturday at SS. Peter and Paul
  Church, the Rev. Father Daniel Loya.  Interment, church cemetery.
