  Micheal J. Pipta, 75, of 91 School Ave., Jerome, dead on arrival
  Sept. 19, 1980 at Memorial Hospital, Johnstown.  Born March 16, 1905,
  in Johnstown, son of Charles and Barbara (Kmetz) Pipta Sr.  Preceded
  in death by parents; two sisters, Helen and Anna.  Survived by widow,
  former Julia Rocus; and these children: Charles R., married to former
  Rose Mary Makar, Jerome; Margaret, wife of Joeseph Cavaliere,
  Holbrook, Long Island, N.Y.; Henry G., married to the former Eliane
  McCarthy, Houston, Texas; 10 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren;
  brother of: John and Charles Jr., both of Jerome; Mrs. Elizabeth
  Leskovich, Boswell; Mrs. Barbara Imo and Mary Carpenter, both of Long
  Island; and Mrs. Julia Bennett, Brooklyn.  Member of Ss. Peter and Paul
  Byzantine Catholic Church, Jerome, and UMW of A.  Celebrated 54th
  wedding anniversary Feb. 9, 1980.  Friends will be recieved from 7-9
  p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Hoffman Funeral
  Home, 409 Main St., Boswell.  Funeral mass at 9 a.m Monday at Ss.
  Peter and Paul Church, the Rev. Thomas Gran.  Interment, church
  cemetery.
