He was born Sept. 18, 1900 in Czechoslovakia and was the son of John and Mary Brasko Pishko. He was preceeded in death by parents; a sister, Anna Vesek; and a brother, John. Survived by daughter, Jeanne, wife of Eugene Konieczny, Jennerstown; and a granddaughter, Barbara at home; brother of Mary, wife of John Migut; and Verna, wife of Bernard Panek Sr., both of Jenners; and Helen, wife of Michael Turchek, Cleveland, Ohio. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Jenners, United Mine Workers of America and the Jenner Rod and Gun Club and was employed by the Consolidation Coal Company for many years in several area mines. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Joseph G. Hoffman Funeral Home, 409 Main St., Boswell where Rosary Wake Service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Church, Jenners. Officiating will be Rev. Hubert Konieczny, O. F. M. Conv. Interment, St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Boswell. Somerset American, June 8, 1976 [P0619]
