  Mary Catherine "Kay" (Ickes) Place, 54, Taylor, Mich., formerly of
  Boswell, died July 18, 1983, in Taylor.  Born in Boswell, daughter of
  the late Comfrey S. Sr. and Leora M. (Trostle) Ickes.  Survived by
  husband Neil C. Sr., son Neil C. Jr., married to former Vickie
  Underwood, and three grandchildren, all of Taylor.  Sister of: the
  Rev. Chauncey J., Boswell RD 2; Wayne W. and Comfrey S. Jr. both of
  Boswell; and Rose Furman of DeLand, Fla.  Funeral arrangements and
  interment will be held in Taylor.
