Platt, Mrs. Caroline

  Mrs. Caroline Platt, aged 81 years, 16(?) months and 7 days died at her home 
in Berlin recently. Deceased was a native of Brunswich, Germany. She was twice 
married. Her surviving children are: William Platt, of Stonycreek Township; 
Frederick M. Platt, of Berlin; Mrs. Samuel Smith, of Somerset; Mrs. H. C. 
Hoppert, of Glen Savage; Mrs. John Coughenour and Mrs. Edward L. Imhoff, of 
Berlin. Thirty-six grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren also are living, two 
of the grandchildren being ministers of the gospel - J. Wesley Platt of 
Mantecka, Cal. and Daniel W. Long of near Meyersdale. Her husband died nine 
years ago.
