  Mrs. Minnie M. Platt, 84, of Somerset RD 5, died May 30, 1976 in
  Somerset Community Hospital.  She was born in Somerset County April
  15, 1892, the daughter of the late Webster and Elizabeth (Maust)
  Adams.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Galen S.  In 1966,
  and one son.  Survived by these children: Mrs. Anna Mancioni, Chicago,
  Ill.; Mrs. Emma Grace Kaap, Albuquerque, New Mexico; Ray E. and Clyde,
  both of Berlin RD 4; Mrs. Ruth Miller, Geiger, Len A., Somerset RD 4;
  Mrs. Janet Gomola, Pittsburgh; 30 grandchildren, 48
  great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter.  She was a
  half-sister of Thomas Sayers, Somerset; Harvey Sayers, Ohio; and
  Olive Pyle, Acosta.  She was a member of the Brothersvalley Church of
  the Brethren and the Ladles Aid Society of the Church.  Friends are
  being received in the Johnson and Son Funeral Home, Berlin, until 9
  p.m. today, Tuesday.  Mrs. Platt will lie in state at the
  Brothersvalley Church of the Brethren Wednesday from 10 a.m. until
  11, the hour of the service.  Officiating will be Rev. Owen Preston.
  Interment, Pike Cemetery.
