  PLATTER

  Mrs. Annie Platter, 78, Cresaptown, Md., formerly of Meyersdale, died
  in Lonaconing, Md., on Sunday, Oct. 30.  Born Sept. 19, 1888, in
  Meyersdale, she was a daughter of Martin and Elizabeth (Christner)
  Foy. Her husband, William C. Platter, died in 1957.  Surviving are
  four daughters: Mrs. Oliver Lewis, Cresaptown, with whom she made her
  home; Mrs. Charles Merrill, Somerset; Mrs. Paul Glessner, Cresaptown;
  Mrs. Paul Troutman, Wellersburg; two sons, William, Meyersdale:
  Robert, Cresaptown; eight grandchildren and seven
  great-grandchildren.  Service was held at Price Funeral Home,
  Meyersdale, on Wednesday afternoon, with Rev. Paul Weber officiating.
  Interment was made in Union Cemetery, Meyersdale.
