  PLATTER
  
  Bessie Agnes Platter, 59, of Meyersdale RD 4, died April 2, 1996, at
  her residence.  Born Feb. 8, 1937, at Avilton, Md.  She was a daughter
  of the late George and Anna Mae (Ricer) Mason.  Mrs. Platter was a
  member of the Pentecostal Apostolic Church, Meyersdale.  Survived by
  four sons: Lester Platter Jr., Gary Platter, Terry Platter and Ricky
  Platter, all of Meyersdale; a daughter, Dorothy Reiber, Meyersdale, a
  brother, George Mason, Jr., Cave Junction, Ore.: four Sisters: Grace
  Platter, Clara Slagle and Mary Garth, all of Baltimore, and Betty
  Bean, Hagerstown; also 16 grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the
  Newman Funeral Home, 179 Miller St., Grantsville, Md., where services
  will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, with the Rev. Larry Stewart
  officiating.  Interment, Mount Zion Cemetery.
