  PLATTER
  
  Edna Sarah Platter, 87, of 505 Coal Run Rd., Meyersdale died Jan. 19,
  at Meyersdale Medical Center.  Born May 23, 1912 in Coal Run, she was a
  daughter of the late Fredinand and Mary (Miller) Nolte.  She was
  preceded in death by her husband, William C. Platter Jr. Oct. 18,
  1997, a sister, Mary Howell, and three brothers, Henry, Truman and
  Owen Nolte.  Survived by a sister-in-law Mary Nolte, Canton, Ohio, six
  nieces and nephews, Mary Jane (Nolte) Dugan, Eugene Nolte, Ronald
  Nolte Rev. James Nolte, Doris (Howell) Johnston, and Dale Howell.
  Member of St. Paul Wilhelm United Church of Christ.  Friends will be
  received at the Newman Funeral Homes, RA., Grantsville, Md., from 11
  a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday the time of services, Rev. James Nolte
  officiating.  Interment, St. Paul Wilhelm Cemetery.
