  JACOB PLATTER
  
  Jacob Platter, 94, Jennings, died Nov. 4, in Garrett County Memorial
  Hospital, Oakland, where he had been a patient for one day.  A native
  of Jennings, he was a son of the late Henry and Rachel (Bittinger)
  Platter.  Funeral service was conducted Nov. 7 at the Jennings
  Methodist church by Rev. Frank Johnson.  Burial was made in
  Grantsville cemetery under the direction of Newman Funeral Home,
  Grantsville.
