  MRS. AUSTIN PLATTER 
  
  Mrs. Rosa Platter, 72, of Grantsville RD, died April 22, 1974, at
  Cuppett-Weeks Nursing Home.  Born in Bittinger, Md., she was a
  daughter of the late David and Lucinda (Bittinger) Fresh.  She was a
  member of the Maple Grove Church of the Brethren.  Surviving are her
  husband, Austin Platter; three sons, Ray, Claude and Ellis Platter,
  Grantsville; three daughters, Mrs. Pauline Kerns, Miss June Platter,
  Grantsville; and Miss Elma Platter, Baltimore, Md ; seven
  grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; two brothers, Francis Fresh,
  Lorain, Ohio, and Carl Fresh, Bruceton Mills, W. Va.; and two sisters,
  Mrs. Victoria Flanagan, Grantsville; and Mrs. Virgie Knotts, Orma, W.
  Va.  Funeral service was held Wednesday afternoon in Newman Funeral
  Home, Grantsville, with Rev. Preston Miller officiating.  Interment in
  Grantsville Cemetery.
