  PLETCHER, Christopher Roy 12/26/07  Daily American
  
   Christopher Roy Pletcher, 23, Williamsport, Md., passed away Dec. 23, 2007, in
  Hagerstown, Md. He was born Jan. 24, 1984, in Cumberland, Md., a son of Ernest Eldon and
  Carolyn Joann (Lytle) Pletcher of Williamsport. He was a 2002 graduate of Williamsport
  High School and later attended the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, Baruch
  College in New York and Shepherd University in Shepherdstown W.Va. He was the recipient
  of a congressional appointment to the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. Employed with
  the Wal-Mart Corp. in Frederick, Md. He was a PFC with the 290th MP Co. of the Maryland
  National Guard. A member of Williamsport American Legion Post 202 and the First Church of
  God in Mercersburg, Pa. He was a former member of the Civil Air Patrol and enjoyed
  hunting, sports, friends and family. Besides his parents, he is survived by a paternal
  grandmother Martha E. Pletcher of Acme and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Family
  will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. the hour of service Friday at the Kingwood Church
  of God where a service will follow with the Rev. Paul Tobias officiating. Interment
  Kingwood IOOF Cemetery. Family suggests memorial contributions to First Church of God,
  107 S. Park Ave., Mercersburg, PA 17236. Funeral arrangements are with the Humbert
  Funeral Home, Confluence.
