Pletcher, 60, formerly of York, Pa., died suddenly Dec. 17, 1981, at his home at Duncannon. Born Nov. 5, 1921, in White, son of Clarence M. and Clara Margaret (Miller) Pletcher. Preceded in death by parents. Survived by two sisters: Mae Pletcher, Somerset; Lyda Henry, Canton, Ohio; and one brother, Harry of Champion. He was a veteran of World War II and member of Union of Elevator Corp. Local 59, Harrisburg, Pa. Member American Legion and VFW. He was a mechanic for the Haughton Elevators Company, Harrisburg, for 30 years. There will be viewing Sunday evening from 6-7.
