He was born Jan. 13, 1920, a son of Ross and Bertha (Ansell) Pletcher. He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister. He is survived by his wife, the former Ethel Rose, and six children: Mrs. Robert (Myrna) Lane, of Poway, Calif.; Harold Eugene, of Freedom, Pa.; Jerry, of Watertown, Conn.; Craig, of Somerset; Mrs. Dalton (Debbie) King, and Gary, both of Rockwood RD 3. Also brothers Earl, Lloyd and Emerson, all of Rockwood RD3; Lester, of Normalville; Calvin, of Mill Run. Also survived by sisters Mrs. Thomas Homer, of Florida; Mrs. Dean King, of Markleton RD 1. He was a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church; was employed as a construction worker, a member of Carpenters Local 224, of Pittsburgh; was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army. Friends were received at the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral tome, Somerset. Services were held at the Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church Nov. 25, at 2 p.m., the Rev. John W. Hedge officiating.
