  PLETCHER
  
  Mrs. Joan Pletcher, 34, Somerset RD 1, died May 31, Mercy Hospital,
  Johnstown.  Born in Shade Township July 22, 1939, daughter of the late
  Kenneth Lambert and Margaret Durstine Lambert.  Preceded in death by
  first husband, Larry Buchanan.  Survived by her mother, Somerset RD 1,
  husband, Virgil Pletcher, and these children: Lois Ann, wife of
  William Swineford, Jessup, Md.; Thomas R. Pletcher, U.S. Army, Ft.
  Campbell, Ky., Christian Joy Buchanan, Carol Sue Pletcher, Jolinda
  Gay Buchanan and Cindy Jo Pletcher, all at home; one granddaughter,
  and these brothers and sisters: Mrs. James Collins, Confluence RD 1;
  Mrs. Burdette Walker and Louis, both Somerset RD 1; James, Friedens
  RD 2, and Leonard R., Hummelstown.  Was a member of Samuels Lutheran
  Church.  Friends are being received at Robert H. Halverson Funeral
  Home.  Funeral service will be conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m.  In Messiah
  Lutheran Church, New Centerville, Rev. Gene Abel officiating.
  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.  Viewing in the church.
