  PLETCHER
  
  Joana Pletcher, 77, of Barberton, Ohio, died July 24, 1989, at
  Barberton Manor Care Center, Barberton.  She was born Oct. 14, 1911,
  in Somerset County, daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Faidley)
  Gary.  Preceded in death by her husband, John; two sons, a grandson
  and two sisters.  Survived by three sons: James of Oaks, Pa.; Fred of
  Phoenixville, Pa.; and Leroy of North Canton, Ohio; three daughters:
  Betty Thorn of Masilon, Ohio; Linda Drake of Uniontown, Ohio; and
  Anna Mae Fly of Tennessee; 14 grandchildren and 14
  great-grandchildren; five brothers: James Gary of Somerset; William
  of Normalville; Jonas and Samuel of Boswell; and Simon of New Jersey;
  and a sister, Rachel Montgomery of Rockwood.  Member of Newman Baptist
  Church.  Friends will be received 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the Wilbur D.
  Miller Funeral Home where funeral service will be conducted Friday at
  11 a.m. with Pastor James Ash officiating.  Interment, Wesley Chapel
  Church Cemetery.
