  PLETCHER
  
  Joyce J. Pletcher, 60, of Rockwood, passed away Jan. 27, 2001, at
  home.  Born Aug. 25, 1940 in Somerset, daughter of the late Frank and
  Jennie (Martincic) Weiss.  Preceded in death by parents.  Survived by
  uncles Charles Martincic and Allen Weiss, both of Rockwood, and
  several cousins.  She was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force with 20
  years of service who served in the VietNam War.  She retired as a
  Major.  She was a registered nurse in the military as well as in
  private life and earned her degree as a nurse-practician while
  serving her country.  Member of the Rockwood American Legion Post 279,
  the Berlin V.F.W., and an auxiliary member of the Fraternal Order of
  Eagles Aerie 1801 in Somerset.  Friends received from 7-9 p.m. Monday
  at Miller Funeral Home, Rockwood, where a service will be held at 11
  a.m. Tuesday.  Pastor Ardelle Mason officiating.  Interment, Rockwood
  I.O.O.F. Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to
  In Touch Hospice, 1590 N. Center Ave., Somerset, Pa., 15501.
