SAMUEL W. PLETCHER

  Samuel W. Pletcher, 66, of Somerset, RD 3, formerly of Garrett, died June 21, 
at his home after a lingering illness.  He was the son of the late Amos and 
Eliza (Sleasman) Pletcher of Garrett.
  He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Anna Sarver Pletcher, and the following 
children: John Pletcher of Somerset RD 3; Charles W. Pletcher of Somerset RD 6; 
Mrs. Earl Hutzell, Johnstown; Mrs. Charles Boyer, Hooversville; Harvey Ohler, 
Holsopple; also the following brothers, John Pletcher, Hanoverton, Ohio; George 
Pletcher of East Liverpool, Ohio, and James Pletcher of Garrett, a sister, Sadie 
Pletcher Lang, died January 30, 1949.  Funeral services were held at the Hauger 
Funeral Home, Somerset, Thursday at 2 p.m. Rev. C. A. Shilke officiated.  
Interment was made in the Highland Cemetery, Garrett.
