Pletcher, 47, of Somerset RD 1, died May 25, 1976 in Somerset Community Hospital. Born April 4, 1929 in Somerset, son of the late George and Edith Craig Pletcher. Preceded in death by two brothers and a sister. Survived by his wife, the former Sylvia Bailey, eight Children: Mrs. William (Lois) Swineford of California, Pa.; Thomas, Christine, Pamela, Carol, JoLinda, Cindy and a step-son, Brett, all at home. A brother of Robert and Donald, both of Chicago, Ill.; Mrs. Adolph (Kathryn) Dahl of Butler; and Mrs. John (Florence) Pritts of Somerset. Member of the Christian Missionary Alliance Church of Somerset and a veteran of World War II in the U. S. Army. Friends will be received to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home, where funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday with the Rev. James Vandervort officiating. Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
