  Bertha E. Plitt, 98, of Sebring, Fla., formerly of Meyersdale died
  March 24, 2000 in Sebring.  She was born March 23, 1902 in Mance, Pa.,
  a daughter of the late Harrison and Theresa (Bloom) Hersch.  She was
  preceded in death by her husband Charles E. and son Paul E.  She is
  survived by a daughter Pauline, wife of Rex Kinney of Ashville, N.C.,
  five grandchildren, four step-grandchildren Charles Plitt of Florida,
  Earl Plitt, Mert Miller and Judy Norton, all of North Carolina.  Eight
  step-great-grandchildren and three step-great-great-grandchildren.  Also
  a brother Wilbert Hersch of Michigan.  Friends received from 9 to 11
  a.m. Monday the time of service at Leckemby Funeral Home, Meyersdale,
  with Pastor Joe A. Byler.  Interment, Union Cemetery.
