MARY ELIZABETH PLITT

  Mrs. Mary Elizabeth (Fawner) Plitt died April 24 at 10:30 p.m., in the 
Somerset Hospital at the age of 78 years, 15 days.
  She was born April 9, 1868, the daughter of George W. and Eleanora V. Fawner.  
On Jan. 18, 1887, she was united in marriage with Charles Plitt and they lived 
practically their entire married life in Meyersdale.  They celebrated their 
golden wedding anniversary in 1937.  Mr. and Mrs. Plitt were life-long members 
of the Methodist Church.  Mr. Plitt passed away Dec. 8, 1942.
  Friends will be received at the funeral home, where services will be held 
Saturday afternoon, at 1:30, by Rev. Sherwood Keiser.  Interment in Union 
Cemetery under the direction of W. C. Price & Son.
