Plume, 79, of Confluence, died Jan. 14, 2001 at the home of her son in Youngstown, Pa. She was born Nov. 15, 1921, in Confluence, a daughter of the late James and Hazel (McNair) Younkin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Plume, and six sisters: Zola Baroni, Jessie Yeager, Jean Burns, Bessie Campbell, Charlotte Smith and Pearl Nicholson. She is survived by sons, William H. Martin and his wife, Agnes, of Youngstown; Richard Martin and his wife, Lennie, of Austin, Texas; and daughters, Sandia Hayes and husband, Lee, Denver, Colo.; and Karen Shipley of Confluence. 14 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and a sister, Vesta Kirzgavis and her husband, John, of Latrobe. Also a number of nieces and nephews. She owned and operated Mabel's Restaurant in Confluence for 15 years and was a member of the Confluence Church of the Nazarene. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, at the Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence, where services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday with the Rev.
