Born Mar. 29, 1914 in Lower Turkeyfoot Township, a son of the late Alex and Susan Hyatt Plume. Survived by his wife the former Mabel Younkin and the following children: Karen Plume, Confluence; Sandra McCully, Greenville; Richard Martin of Fulton, N.Y.; and William Martin of Latrobe; 11 grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Olive Conn of Confluence RD 1; and Velma Conn of Confluence RD 1; Mrs. Verna Fazenbaker, of Shanksville; Mrs. Frieda Yaukey, of Waynesboro; Mrs. Ruth Anderson, Confluence RD 1; Mrs. Eva Jean Anderson, of Ohio; Denzil Plume of Fort Hill. He was a veteran of World War II. He was employed by the Baltimore ard Ohio Railroad as a signalman supervisor. He was a member of the Confluence Lutheran Church, Confluence Volunteer Fire Department, the Somerset Eagles and the Brotherhood of Railroad Signalmen. Somerset Bulletin, June 23, 1972 [P0726]
