Plummer, 76, Stoystown, formerly of Friedens, went home to be with the Lord, March 20, 2008, in Tucson, Ariz. Born Sept. 18, 1931, in Sidman, son of Frank and Coletta (Beyer) Plummer. Preceded in death by parents; wife of 52 years the former, Regina M. Beiter; infant son, Keith; five brothers and three sisters. Survived by wife, the former Leona Hoffman; children, Karen, married to Michael Cobaugh, South Fork; Kenneth, married to the former Mary Heinlein, Sidman; Kevin, married to the former, Holly Moyer, Reynoldsville; Karl, married to the former Jenny Bigelow, Friedens; Kimberly, Sidman; Kris, Stoystown; Kurt, State College; grandchildren, Clint, Janyl and Luray Cobaugh, Rebecca, Sara, Melissa, Todd, Kevin Jr., Sherry, Bryan, Isaac, Caleb, Micah and Samuel Plummer and Chad; great-grandchildren, Christopher and Sophia. Brother of Dennis and wife, Wilma, Richard and wife, Maureen, all of Sidman; Jane, married to Theodore Beiter, Ebensburg; Tiny, married to Ronald Ricciuti, and Martha, both of Florida. An Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was an avid raccoon and deer hunter, and spent winters in Arizona. Former dairy farmer and retired after 30 years with Bethlehem Steel, Johnstown. Member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, Somerset; Knights of Columbus of St. Michael; and Jenner Rod and Gun Club. Family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where vigil for the deceased will be held at 2 p.m. Friday. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Somerset. Monsignor Samuel J. Tomaselli, celebrant. Committal, St. Bartholomew's Cemetery, Wilmore.
