  PLUTA
  
    Louis M. Pluta Sr., 72, of Whistler Road, Stoystown, died Oct. 2,
  1999, at Somerset Hospital.  Born Sept. 23, 1927, in Ralphton, son of
  John and Mary (Csarak) Pluta.  Preceded in death by parents; son John;
  his wife of almost 50 years, the former Caroline Sechler, who died the
  day before, on Oct. 1, 1999; and brothers Andrew and Joseph.  Survived
  by these children: Bill, married to the former Sally Berkey, of
  Cairnbrook, Louis Jr. "Mike" of Jenners, Andrew, married to the
  former Peggy Baldwin, Mary Lou, married to John Pongrac, and Jeffrey,
  married to the former Delene Brehm, all of Stoystown, and Sylvia
  "Sue," married to Chris Miller, of Johnstown; 18 grandchildren; and
  three great-grandchildren.  Brother of John of Hollywood, Fla., and
  Donna, married to Donald Meyers Jr., of Hollsopple.  He was a
  long-time notary.  Retired manager of A-1 Auto Wreckers, formerly
  Sechler Auto Wreckers.  He was a medic in the U.S. Army during the
  Korean War.  He was a former member of the Jenner Rod and Gun Club. 
  Family received friends Sunday at the Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown,
  where a funeral service for Louis and Caroline will be held today at
  11 a.m. Monday, with the Rev. Jason McQueen officiating.  Interment,
  Odd Fellows Cemetery, Stoystown.
