  PLUTA
  
  Stella (Bomba) Pluta, 80, Allegheny Lutheran Home, Hollidaysburg,
  formerly of Jerome, died Dec. 19, 1988 at the Home.  Born Oct. 8,
  1908 in Johnstown, daughter of Thomas and Magadeline Bomba.  Preceded
  in death by parents, husband Thomas P., who died Aug. 27, 1984; a son
  Thomas.  Survived by these children: Louise, wife of James E. Short,
  Bethel Park; George, married to the former Florence Zablotney,
  District Heights, Md.; Jo Ann, wife of Walter Robuck, Falls Church,
  Va.; eight grandchildren, one great-granddaughter.  Sister of
  Catherine Smith.  Member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, Jerome. 
  Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Hoffman
  Funeral Home, Main Street, Boswell, where wake service will be held
  at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.  Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Thursday
  at Holy Cross Church, Father Conrad Salach, O.F.M., Conv.  Interment,
  church cemetery.
