  POISAL
  
  Mrs. Mary Shaffer Poisal, 85, of Somerset Towers, died Feb. 26, 1989,
  at Somerset Community Hospital.  Born April 17, 1903, in Somerset,
  daughter of the late Edward and Susan (Manges) Shaffer.  Preceded in
  death by her husband, Leo, in 1957; son, Edward Martin; daughter,
  Mary Catherine Write; sister, June Wolfersberger; and a brother,
  William Shaffer.  Survived by son, Lloyd Poisal, Littleton, Colo.;
  daughter, Dorothy Paxton, North Port, Fla.; 9 grandchildren and 8
  great-grandchildren.  Lifelong member of the First United Methodist
  Church, Somerset.  Graveside services only at the request of the
  deceased under the direction of the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home
  will be conducted at Husband Cemetery Saturday, March 4, at 1:30
  p.m., the Rev. Arthur Gotjen officiating.  Memorial contributions may
  be given to the First United Methodist Church, Somerset.  There will
  be no viewing of the remains.
