She was born Nov. 2, 1916, in Rockwood, a daughter of the late William R., and Ada L. Long Scott. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her first husband, John W. Luckey in 1980; one sister, Wilma Scott Heide, and one brother, Ray E. Scott. She is survived by her husband Henry E. Poiser; one brother, Harold D. Scott and his wife, Patricia, Minneapolis, Minn., and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Poiser is a graduate of Connellsville High School, class of 1934. She was a former telephone operator and clerical staff employee of Bell Atlantic where she was employed for 39 years. She was a former member and past treasurer of the Women's Culture Club, the Telephone Pioneers, the AARP and the Pleasant Valley Country Club. She was also a member of numerous card clubs and was a member of the Presbyterian Church USA of Connellsville. There will be no public viewing or visitation. Interment will take place in Green Ridge Memorial Park, Pennsville. A memorial service will be announced at a future date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Presbyterian Church USA of Connellsville in memory of Ethel Virginia Scott Luckey Poiser.
